Artist in Sète - Ink drawing and paper sculptures

Graduated of Centrale engineering school, holding a Master of Science in fluid mechanics, I worked for 10 years in the oil & gas industry before deciding to live abroad.

For 9 years, as an agent, I established toy brands in the Balkans and then in the Gulf countries. In particular, I created various scenes in the largest shopping malls of Dubai.

I then became a Pilates teacher in Toronto, Canada, with an extensive training in movement anatomy.

Back to France, in Sète, I returned to the practice of drawing inspired by live models posing from 1 to 7 minutes. I also begun experimenting works with rice paper.

All these experiences allowed me to develop a peculiar perception and a personal understanding of movement.

In all my ink drawings, I seek to demonstrate the greatest possible lightness, to capture a movement or a feeling. I try to transcribe moments by only suggesting and leave the viewer the freedom to imagine what he/she sees. I work most of the time from live models in short exposures. I also like to let the colored or uncolored ink express itself freely.

Through my drawings, I also intend to demonstrate that each body is beautiful, interesting and inspiring.

I apply the same approach to working with paper.

I organize in Sète workshops for drawing live models in short poses, open to anyone who want to try this practice.
